Fierce battles take place at Wembley ensured when United met Southampton in the League Cup final on Sunday (26/2) night ahead.

"They [the fans] can be critical," said the midfielder told the club's official website. "Over the last few years, I could not count the number of their support for us and they were like the 12th man and they helped us.
"I think they will play a big role, but hopefully we can perform well and make them stand up from his chair and made sure our support and mobilize the support that indeed we need to come out as a champion," he added.
Meanwhile, United defender Chris Smalling assess his team had a great chance to win the League Cup given Jose Mourinho's troops have often appeared at Wembley - the last they even won the Community Shield after beating Leicester City.
"I can not wait to return to play," said Smalling told MUTV. "We can not wait for Sunday because we had a chance to win a trophy.
"There are some players on this team who have often appeared at Wembley while the number of their players [Southampton] yet, so hopefully it could be an advantage for us on Sunday."
For this meeting, United likely will not be strengthened Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones (both hamstring), Michael Carrick (calf) and James Wilson (ACL). On the bright side, the captain Wayne Rooney has a chance to play after recovering from injury and is back training with the team on Wednesday (22/2) yesterday.
As from the opposite camp, Southampton which is not conceding on the way to the finals will be without Virgil van Dijk (ankle), Charlie Austin (shoulder), Jeremy Pied (ACL), Alex McCarthy and Matt Targett (both hamstring).
