Jesse Lingard declared determination to survive at Manchester United even though he has not been given a whisper by manager Louis van Gaal about his chances in the next season.

Lingard, 22, for the moment the team is participating in the group traveling to the United States for the purposes of pre-season tour.

In a statement, the British young players committed a place in the first team and saw his luck at the club before taking other steps.

"Until now the manager has not said anything to me about my future. I want to stay for a few months and see what happens, "said Lingard.

"For sure I want to survive until the end of the season. This is my club. This is the place where I want to survive.

"The manager has played me on this occasion [pre-season] and he said he wanted to have two players in every position.

"The tour has been very good so far. I myself was loaned in the last year, so it was fun to come back with the squad and staff who are here. "
