A charity match that brings Manchester United legends and legends confirmed Liverpool will be held at the Friends Arena, Sweden, on 3 September 2015.

United's official website says that the former defender Denis Irwin and winger Jesper Blomqvist be some names that have confirmed participation, while the Reds are going to be strengthened Patrik Berger, Jerzy Dudek, Robbie Fowler, Luis Garcia, Stephane Henchoz, Bjorn Tore Kvarme to Vladimir Smicer.

Responding to this match, Irwin said: "As a former player we always look forward to the opportunity to return to play in games like this and I am sure this will become a competitive duel," he told United's official website.

"I was a trustee for the Manchester United Foundation and our many activities in the local community, so it's really great that we will compete with each other to raise funds for a good cause."
